Mind Over Matter

Don't get me wrong. I think that to love or to care for someone is human nature. And, I won't deny that I loved a lot of different people, romantically or not. They all came in different time, different place, and different love. "There are all kinds of love in this world but never the same love twice." -F. Scott Fitzgerald Yes, there are multiple times that I have fallen, whether to be caught on somebody's arms or not. But really, for all of those who I've fallen onto, there is this something in my feelings that is dominating. Mind over matter. I love the mind over the matter. Intellectual romance. I don't know. Is it wrong not to deeply crave someone's kiss or touch that much? Is it wrong to fall in love more on the perfect mix of conversations and silence rather than the smooth flow of body heat and breath? I may not fall for a person the same way as the others, which made me doubt if I really fell or not, but then now, I think that I really do but in a different way. It's just weird. I don't know if it's just a phase or what but at least now I'm pretty sure of what I think. I think that we talk in different language, in different forms of love. And we wait for that person who has or understands the one same as yours. Maybe, some language are just a little bit more mainstream than others. I mean, there are also times I don't understand others' way of showing affection, so I don't really expect people to understand mine. Does it really matter? Well, it does. But I think knowing or acknowledging my true feelings is enough no matter how strange it is. I think knowing what you want is the one that matters even if the person you have feelings for won't be able to get your love language. Oh well. Maybe it's not meant to be.

not-so-dear diary (very random)

Dear diary,

                HAY NAKO! NAKAKAINIS! Banaman, magma-Mcdo na nga lang, matatapon pa ang orange juice ko na walang bawas. Sayang no? Lahat naman ng bagay sa mundo sayang pag naisip natin kaagad na hindi ito worthwhile. Pero malay mo, ang sayang sa iyo, pangarap ng iba.

Tulad na lang ng mga makapigil hiningang mga pangyayari sa akin kanina na marahil sa iba’y isang pangkaraniwang, walang kwentang mga segundo ng kani-kanilang buhay. Eh sino ba namang taong hindi mabobother kapag kinausap ka ng crush mo ng harap-harapan, at malapit na malapit sa mukha. Di nga ako makatingin ng diretso. AS IN! Oo na tanga na ko. Gumising na din naman ako sa aking panandaliang panaginip habang katabi niya ang girlaloosh niya. Ay oo, ang lahat ng iyon, wala lang sa kanya. Binabasura lang niya lahat ng pinapangarap ko.

Haha, drama, pwede na akong manalo ng best actress. Nako, marahil pwede nang pang-aniversary special ng Maalaala mo kaya. Joke lang yun, echos lang, eto talaga ang totoong storya.

                One day, isang araw, nagtanong ako sa matanda, “Bakit ganito po ang mga tao?”. Madalian namang may sumagot sa akin, “Mayroon lamang dalwang uri ng tao sa daigdig. Ang isa ay tagapagtanghal at ang isa ay ang tagapagmasid”. Inisip ko mabuti ang sagot ng matanda. Isip. Isip. Wala nga pala ako nun. Maya-maya pa’y naglakad-lakad ako sa kanto ng Palaris habang umuulan at ang buwa’y natakluban na ng sandamakmak na mga ulap. Madilim. Kaya siguro tinawag na Diliman. Nakakatakot. Parang walang katapusan ang aking nilalakad. At naisipan kong aliwin ang sarili sa kanta ni Britney Spears para maibsan ang natatamasang takot. Anong kanta? Circus.
                “There’s only two types of people in the world. The ones that entertain and the ones that observe.” OMAYGAD! Dun pala galing yung sinabi ng matanda kanina! Sino namang matanda ang sasagot ng kanta ni Britney Spears? Weird. Okay, marahil wala nga kong nakausap na matanda. Marahil, gawa-gawa ko lang. But the point is, maganda si Britney! AY! Di pala iyon. The point is, may entertainer at observer talaga sa mundo. Saan ka kaya kabilang? The active? Or the passive? Ako kaya? Kayo na ang humusga. Pero seryoso, LSS ko yung theme song nung Anghelito, Batang Ama.

At heto, nakarating na ako ng bahay habang walang modo kong inagaw kay AIREEN (a new coined nick name for my roommate) ang kanyang laptop at ginawa ko tong random thoughts. Not just random, dapat SUPER RANDOM. Ayan na nga eh, nangungullit anung pangalan ng dish kung dish siya, di ko naman maisip. Ayun, after a few moments, naging wildberry cheese kate. Labo. Pero mas malabo ako. At least aminado. O siya, night night na, alas-syete pa klase ko, nakakainis.

Nothing Merely Just Testing

Welcome to my blog! Well, i just want to test how this works and I still have to learn the basics. More than that, I think that this might be really enjoying. I am so eager about it because I had never taken "blogging" so seriously. And come to think of it, I already have a first entry. May I have more entries to come.

Well, I apologize to say such non-sense things. Actually, I really have to apologize if this whole entry does not concern you at all. Because that is what this whole entry is all about. I don't really know what to say. It's just that my fingers just keep on typing a lot more. But seriously, I can't think of anything to say.

Ahh! I know. How about telling some more about this blog?

"spaceNOTenough" is what this blog called. I might not have such specific reason about having it but this mind of mine tells me "choose this" and I did. "spaceNOTenough" have a lot of meaning to me, you see. It might mean that too much is not good at all. It might also mean the other way around, we will never run out of ideas and space is always there for it. Or maybe, just the plain "too much." I told you i'm not so sure about it but I'm telling you I love it!

So many words to type, I don't know what to choose. Well, anyway, thanks for dropping by. I'm just a newbie so don't you expect a lot from me. I hope you don't get bored with my silly ways of telling stories and my words of my mind, my thoughts and days not to be forgotten.
